About Elaine's Kitchen

Elaine’s Kitchen is an event catering company nestled in the foothills of the Mendips and the Yeo Valley. We cater for events of all shapes and sizes including Wedding Catering, Canape Catering, Thanksgiving Services (funeral catering), Business Lunches and Private Dinner Parties.

Set up by Elaine is 2000, Elaine’s Kitchen has been successfully delivering catering requirements for nearly 25 years. In 2017 Elaine’s Kitchen became a Limited company with Catherine and Rebecca, Elaine’s daughters joining the company full time and following in their mums footsteps, making this a real family business. Recently retired but still very much at the forefront of Elaine’s Kitchen, Elaine is enjoying time with her grand children and quilting.

Catherine and Rebecca are looking forward to growing Elaine’s Kitchen. They love what they do and this is reflected in the superb quality of food and service provided to each and every client Elaine’s Kitchen have catered for over the years.

Based in North Somerset we are very lucky to have the majority of our suppliers within 10 miles of us. Our two main suppliers, New Manor Farm Shop and Arthur David, are 8 miles down the road.

Hygiene Certificates

Elaine’s Kitchen has received their maximum five star food hygiene rating in August 2023 issued by the Food Standards Agency and carried out by North Somerset Council.

Meet the team

Elaine - Founder

Elaine is the original founder and a director of the business. Although Elaine is no longer seen at events, she is still very much the heart of the business behind the scenes.Growing up in Cornwall, it was no surprise that Cornish pasties were one of her first cooking experiences. Elaine’s Kitchen started in South Africa, where she spent her early married life and it was as much a success back then as it is now. Elaine has always loved cooking from a very young age and has passed on her culinary knowledge to her three children, Catherine, Richard and Rebecca.

Catherine – Catering Manager

Catherine is Catering Manager, director of the business and older sister. Catherine has definitely learnt everything she knows from her mum and is every bit as gifted. She is the queen of cooking Beef! Now after starting her own family and business, she is passing on her talents to her two boys (who will be joining the team before you know it).

Rebecca – Managing Director

Rebecca is Managing Director, director of the business and the bossy sister. Rebecca has always made up for being the youngest by being the bossiest. Rebecca is a versatile chef but loves baking especially, always baking up a storm in the Old Bell Kitchen. Now a mum of two, Rebecca is hoping to follow in her mums foot steps and pass on her culinary skills to her children.
